Eossi Gives Back

At Eossi Beauty, we’re working to make the world a better and more beautiful place for everyone—and of course that means helping others. Proceeds from every Eossi Beauty product sold are set aside to support nonprofit organizations hand-picked by our founders that are making a meaningful difference.

Because we want to share the love with as many good causes as possible, every quarter we will support a different organization that provides hope and assistance for those in need. We also want to hear from our customers, so please send us a message with the subject line “Eossi Gives Back” to tell us about the nonprofit groups you’re passionate about. Once a year, we’ll select one of your suggestions and give our entire quarterly donation to that nonprofit.
Below you’ll find information about the organizations that are near and dear to our hearts.
Q3 2020 Eossi Gives Back partner: Food Bank of the Rockies

The giveback: Starting with the launch of Eossi Beauty in the third quarter of 2020, we will source and donate eight meals for families in need for every Eossi Beauty product purchased, via our partnership with Food Bank of the Rockies.

The issues: Food insecurity is an unfortunate reality even in the best of times. Historically, 1 in 10 Coloradans worry where their next meal will come from, a number that is on the rise because of the pandemic. Unprecedented levels of unemployment have had an outsized impact on food needs. Currently, more than one-third of people seeking help with food had never previously sought aid. The needs of children, seniors and low-income families are particularly acute: Children represent nearly half of the population served by Food Bank of the Rockies. Meanwhile, supply-chain interruptions and decreases in food donations from grocery stores and food manufacturers mean Food Bank of the Rockies is spending 40% more per pound on food than previously.
The Eossi Beauty inspo: “This pandemic has hit our food banks and community pantries hard, and our support of these necessary institutions is essential,” say Shannon and Rochonne. “We can do something about food insecurity right now.”

How Food Bank of the Rockies Helps: In 2019, more than 70 million pounds of food were distributed, enough to provide more than 156,000 meals each day. To meet pandemic-related needs, the organization is distributing more than 14,000 Totes of Hope to children weekly and is expanding its home delivery of food boxes to hundreds of older adults.
The organization, established in 1978, continues to expand its reach and currently partners with nearly 700 hunger-relief programs.

Transparency: 96 cents of every dollar donated goes toward food distribution. For 10 years in a row, this 501(c)(3) nonprofit has received a four-star rating from nonprofit watchdog Charity Navigator, its highest rating.
